Welcome to my website. I am a Professor for mathematics, in particular stochastic analysis, at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Bielefeld and a research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (MIS) in Leipzig. Since 2023, I am heading the ERC Consolidator Grant “Fluco”.

My research centers around stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs), nonlinear partial differential equations, stochastic dynamics, interacting particle systems, machine learning, fluid dynamics, with emphasis on conservative SPDEs.
